Sharni Vinson

Sharni Vinson is a native of Australia's state of NSW and spent her childhood on the southern beaches in the Sydney suburb Cronulla. In her teens she competed at the National Level for swimming and held four State records during her high school. Sharni was among the youngest performers in her immediate family, having started at an early stage of her life, performing and dancing. She was the daughter of performers from the musical theatre in addition to her mother receiving the Borovansky Ballet Company scholarship to England in 1945. Sharni took up a place at the Brent Street School of Performing Arts Sydney in the year she turned twelve years old. Through the following ten decades, Sharni took classes in diverse forms of dance. At the age of 17 when she graduated from high school Sharni was signed by Roadshow Music Australia as a member of the girl-only pop group "Foxfire IV", whose debut single "Roses," reached the top 50 on Australia's ARIA charts.
